birth of a new Internet craze

Now, in completely unrelated news...  

I thought of a new twist on the game "six degrees of Kevin Bacon":  

Someone picks a random word (or phrase, or person... anything) and everyone starts by looking up that word in Wikipedia - then the object is to link your way to the Kevin Bacon page of Wikipedia without leaving Wikipedia, in as few hops (or as little time) as possible.

I tried this myself, starting with the word "scuba", and it took me nearly 20 minutes to get to Kevin.  Of course when I started playing, I could only think of two of his movies, which made it very difficult.  After I got to the KB page, I studied his filmography just a little, and realized I had bypassed several easy links to him earlier in the game.  

Anyway, it was kind of fun...  I think I'll call this new game, the "six degrees of Wiki-Bacon" - pass it on!
